ARRIVING TO HÄMEENLINNA AND KANTOLA EVENT PARK

Kantola Event Park (Kantolan tapahtumapuisto) is located in the city of Hämeenlinna, approximately a one hour drive from Helsinki and Tampere. Hämeenlinna can easily be reached by train or bus. Kantola Event Park is located by the lake Vanajavesi on a 9.5 hectare park area.
We are expecting 55 000 concert-goers on the day of the event and the roads to the city and within and also the gates may be crowded at times. We recommend arriving early and enjoying the services of the venue.
Due to the limited amount of parking space we strongly recommend that you make your way to Hämeenlinna using public transportation. Remember to reserve your bus or train tickets to Hämeenlinna in advance. We have reserved limited parking spaces:

•    Vanajan kirkko (P1)
•    Visamäki (P2)
•    Kantola Event Camping (P3)
•    Kantola Event Park (PVIP)

Please note that the parking is not included in VIP packages and must be paid separately. Parking areas are to be filled in the order of arrival.
More information about parking and instructions for arriving from different directions can be found below in the Arriving By Car –section. We recommend reading the instructions carefully in advance.
Timetables for trains and additional train connections can be found from VR – Railway Company’s website. Live Nation Events Club offers bus trips from Helsinki, Tampere and Turku: Matkaraketti travel packages to and from the concert are now on sale at Events Club website.

Local businesses en route will be open as usual and we kindly ask concert patrons to take this into consideration as you walk to the concert park. Please reserve enough time, as there will be a mass of people walking with you. You can also find orange/white balloons along the way to guide you to the venue. See the balloon route from this map.
